The authors improve and generalise real-time implementations of GS (grey-scale) morphological operators proposed by Morales et al. (see IEEE Trans. Image Process., vol. 5, no. 6, p. 1073-7, 1996) for any GSE (grey-scale structuring element) having its centre in any position of the defined domain
