  • Abstract
    Dr. Pieter Van Vliet, president of the Engineering Institute of Canada, was invited by Dr. C.W. Blachford, president of the Canadian Society of Electrical Engineers, to address the members of the CSEE through a guest editorial. His message contains some of his thoughts on the new role of the EIC as a federation of learned societies, and the future of the EIC in continuing education.
