Abstract :
Internetworking between two WDM ring networks, each carrying 160 Gbit/s traffic has been achieved using a monolithic 2×2 multi-wavelength filter. OC-192 wavelengths originating in one ring, terminating in the other ring, traversing up to three add/drop nodes and 75 km of fibre, suffered less than 0.5 dB penalty
