Abstract :
The flux distribution in a two-dimensional ferromagnetic structure is obtained by a finite-difference technique. The quasi-Poissonian partial differential equation describing the magnetic vector potential is transformed into a set of partial difference equations which are solved by a successive line-overrelaxation scheme. The numerical procedure converged quite well even under high saturation levels of the ferromagnetic material.
