Abstract
The ratio of photoelectric current J L in mixtures of liquid nitrogen (LN2), liquid argon (LAr), and liquid methane (LCH4) to that in vacuum J V was measured for a wide range of electric field strengths E . From the analysis of curves of J L /J V vs. E , the electron mobility μ in LN2/LAr and LN2/LCH4 was estimated as a function of mol fraction of N2 X *, where *=N2; μ decreased exponentially with X *. The liquid temperature at a saturation vapor pressure of 0.1 MPa, the normal boiling temperature, and the enthalpy change for vaporization were obtained
