Abstract :
Excite and probe measurements on a GaAs/AlGaAs multiple quantum well pin modulator using sub-picosecond optical pulses are reported. The quantum confined Stark effect allows measurement of a limiting rise time of 170 ps for establishing crosswell photoconductivity
