Abstract :
The improvement of antireduction properties for materials having a barium titanate base was studied by comparing the behavior of several kinds of ions in different sintering atmospheres. The results show that when sintered in reducing atmospheres, both calcium and manganese ions can increase the insulating resistivity of the materials through the mechanism of acceptor dopants. The effect of manganese and zirconium on the Curie temperature is different in different sintering atmospheres as a result of the valence state of the manganese ion and the proportion of substitution between Ti4 and Mn2+
