Abstract :
The filtered-X LMS algorithm used in active noise control applications suffers from slow convergence due in part to the output delay caused by the secondary path of the system. In this letter, we provide a computationally efficient method for removing this output delay within the error signal used to update the controller coefficients, such that the standard LMS algorithm is effectively employed.
