Abstract :
The author is concerned with a simple method of frequency stabilisation for gas lasers. Using the effect of anomalous dispersion, it is possible to obtain a regulating criterion in the case of propagation of two longitudinal modes. Using this principle, one can obtain a frequency stability of better than 1 part in 1010. The principle of operation and data measurements are presented
