  • Abstract
    In telemetry systems of greatly differing bandwidths, the sampling of several channels of information can be made more efficient if, instead of sequential sampling, the individual sampling rate of each channel is made a function of its information content. Several procedures for comparing such data are considered in this article, and a design for a multichannel telemetry system is proposed in which a single transmission line is used
