Abstract :
Currently available Sony high-definition television (HDTV) products for program production are examined. These include cameras, a digital HD recorder, a 1/2-in videocassette recorder, optical disk playback equipment, a digital HD frame recorder, an HD downconverter, large screen reference monitors, and an electron beam recorder. Some HDTV equipment from other manufacturers is briefly described.<>
