  • Abstract
    A theoretical result concerning the identity between the collection probability and a suitably normalized excess carrier distribution in the emitter of a solar cell has been presented in the above paper (see ibid., vol. 43, p. 1034-6, 1996). This result is not new and corresponds to a reciprocity theorem for charge collection, which was established about ten years ago. A reply is given to this claim.
