Abstract :
The growth in the demand for electrical power has led to transmission lines being operated at higher voltages and constructed close to urban areas and installations, where good radiocommunication is important. Because of their large physical size, the lines act as excellent aerials for the transmission of interference signals. These factors have focused attention on the problem of the generation of radio interference by line conductors
