Revista Iberoamericana de Tecnologias del/da Aprendizaje/Aprendizagem (IEEE-RITA) A Latin-American Learning Technologies Journal

The second and third 2012 issues ofiEEE-RITA are now available. The IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON EDUCATION announces the publication of the second and third 2012 issues (vol. 7, no. 2 and no. 3) of IEEE-RIT A (ISSN 1932-8540), an electronic journal issued by the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society through the Chapter´s Technical Committee of Accreditation and Evaluation (CTAE). The publication is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation through complementary action TSI 2007-30679-E and, since December 2009, through complementary action TIN 2009-07333-E/TSI. This electronic publication is published in Spanish and Portuguese, with abstracts and index in English, and is now appearing at its permanent frequency of four issues per year. IEEE-RIT A was approved by the Administrative Committee of the IEEE Education Society in its meeting of June 19, 2006, as a pilot to: (a) demonstrate new ways of providing information and knowledge to non-English readers; and (b) collect data on potential reading interest. IEEE-RIT A was approved as an official journal by the Education Society Administrative Committee on October 20, 2009. In their last meeting on June 2012, the IEEE Technical Activities Board and the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board approved the production of IEEE-RITA in English, as weil as its indexing and its inclusion on IEEE Xplore from 2013 onwards.
