A message from the editor

On January 1981 I succeeded Ian McCausland as Editor of the Canadian Electrical Engineering Journal. At that time, I decided to wait before addressing the readers, because I wanted to couple my message with some important changes in the Journal. These changes, spearheaded by M.N. S. Swamy, Chairman of our Publications Board, and D.K. Mukhedkar, President of the CSEE, include a brand new Publications Board and a new and increased number of Associate Editors. Our new team, listed on the inside of our cover, was chosen to represent our educational and industrial sectors from all over the country. I therefore take this opportunity to welcome the new Publications Board and Associate Editors and wish them success in their demanding tasks.
