Abstract :
This paper develops a mobility car that is powered by proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Mobility cars are convenient for the patients and elders. However, their travel distance is limited by the battery capacity. Therefore, we integrate a PEMFC and two lithium-ion battery sets, and design suitable power management strategies to extend the moving range of the mobility car. The effectiveness of the PEMFC powered mobility car is experimentally verified by experiments.
