  • Abstract
The well-written scientific paper has two essential ingredients: organization and appropriate language within that organization. The component parts of a scientific paper are reviewed: title, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgement, and literature cited; and, with quoted material, inappropriate language use is illustrated.
