  • Abstract
This paper presents a single-input dual-output (SIDO) converter with the simple structure which easily implements zero-voltage-switching (ZVS). In the power transmission mode, a case may appear that one output port of this SIDO converter is idling while another output port is working normally. In this paper, the bad effect of dead-time on achieving the idling output port is detailed analyzed, simulated and validated through experiments when taking the method based on the power delivery equation. A novel and simple negative phase-shift compensation control strategy to block power flowing into the idling output port is proposed. The effectiveness of this control strategy is verified by simulation and experimental results of a 1kW prototype.
