Abstract :
A novel two stage DC to AC inverter configuration intended for up to 3 kVA power applications is described in this paper. Its main advantage over typical inverter configurations is the drastic size (and weight) reduction of its magnetic components. Furthermore, the proposed inverter offers high operating efficiency, programmable output frequency, small overall size and weight and, finally, improved reliability.
