Abstract :
The 11 papers in this special issue (i) highlight the multi-faceted nature of connectivity or graph structures that are supported by today´s Internet, (ii) illustrate the benefits and richness of principled approaches to measuring, modeling, and analyzing the resulting graph structures in ways that respect their layer-specific nature, and (iii) demonstrate the need for new measurement techniques in support of a more rigorous exploration of Internet-specific connectivity structures.
