Abstract :
We were deeply saddened to hear that our beloved friend and colleague, Professor Clayton Paul, passed away on June 27, 2012, at the age of 70. When Janet invited me to write a short article on Clayton´s past technical contributions to the EMC community, I accepted it without hesitation.
