Abstract
In this paper, we propose a nonlinear control method for an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) with dynamic copper loss minimization based on control Lyapunov function (CLF). A CLF based controller has advantages on simple control structure. We design a CLF considering copper loss minimization for IPMSM. Using the obtained CLF, we propose a controller to stabilize a desired torque and minimize copper loss. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method, we show computer simulation and experiment results.
