Abstract :
A 320 Gbit/s throughput non-regenerative optical path cross-connect system is demonstrated in an eight-channel transportation experiment at 2.5 Gbit/s over 325 km from origin to termination node via a 2×2 port partially implemented non-regenerative cross-connect node. The demonstration is achieved by using wavelength-demultiplexers with crosstalk <-37 dB
