Abstract :
With this issue of the Journal, the transition to the new Editor is essentially complete, this being the first issue that I have — to use my predecessor´s delectable phrase — “put to bed”. I would like to express my thanks for the honour of being chosen as Editor in succession to George Holbrook; I hope that I will be able to continue the excellent standard that has been achieved by him, and I thank him for his excellent guidance and help in enabling the transition to be made so smoothly.
