Abstract :
The 28th International ACES conference was held during April 10—14, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was co-chaired by Profs. Jin-Fa Lee and Kubilay Sertel from The Ohio State University. This yearly conference, organized by the Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society, brings together hundreds of researchers, academics, practitioners, and exhibitors to discuss new trends and techniques for solving real-life problems, encompassing all aspects of electromagnetic waves. It also showcases the latest applications of established techniques and commercially available software packages. This year´s meeting was a great success, with over 260 attendees from all around the world. The program included four plenary sessions and 28 parallel technical sessions. A summary of the contributions from the 24 participating countries in the 28th International ACES Conference activities is given below.
