Abstract :
Many wideband applications require diode mixing over several octaves. This often means using separate diode mixing circuits (and associated mechanical and electrical switching networks) which can produce measurement glitches at the crossover frequencies. The authors present the design and measurement of a unique, nine octave virtual mixer design to eliminate the need for RF switches
