Abstract :
For two lossy lines in a homogeneous medium with CMOS terminations, a simple crosstalk estimate for cases with small loads has been derived previously for cases where the CMOS drivers and receivers are modeled as RC elements. Here a bound on the load capacitance is presented, below which this simple estimate is valid. For cases with loads larger than the load of the above criterion, two approximate crosstalk expressions are derived. For parameters within a wide range, it is shown that these two approximations can serve as upper and lower bounds for maximum crosstalk estimates
