Abstract :
This paper presents a method for calculating eddy current loss based on reluctance network analysis (RNA) considering the magnetic reaction field caused by the eddy current. First, an electric network model for calculating eddy current is indicated. Next, RNA model considering the magnetic reaction field by using magnetic inductance is presented. The validity of the proposed model is proved by comparing with the finite-element analysis and experiment.
