Abstract :
In modern low cost RF amplifiers or fibre optic links, it is essential to know the limit of the third order intercept point definition to make accurate intermodulation predictions. The authors present a simple formula to calculate this limit from the data sheet parameters third order intercept point and 1 dB compression point
