  • Abstract
This correspondence compares the recursive versus the nonrecursive algorithms of correlation for a fast varying peak position by simulations. The recursive algorithms give better response and accuracy of time delay estimation, even though the sampling period decreases. The average magnitude difference function (AMDF) is used as an application example
