Abstract :
A high performance CMOS unity-gain amplifier is proposed, which provides very low gain error and low output resistance. The circuit uses a simple topology which is based on a closed-loop gain stage. The gain error can be set as low as 0.2%, which is more than ten times lower than that of the traditional circuit under the same operating conditions. Experimental results of a 1.2 μm CMOS design, in very close agreement with theoretical ones, are also given
