Abstract :
A method of applying simulated annealing to the control of an antenna tuning unit (ATU) is presented. This includes implementation of the algorithm on a transputer architecture and a diagnosis procedure to calculate the load impedance in a timely fashion and to allow the system to adapt to changes in the environment
