Abstract :
A serially concatenated space-time code (SCSTC) that enables efficient high-speed transmission in a band-limited channel is proposed. The performance of the proposed system is compared with that of conventional bandwidth-efficient trellis coded modulation schemes, such as serially concatenated trellis coded modulation (SCTCM) and turbo trellis coded modulation (turbo-TCM), and a significant performance improvement is shown
