Abstract :
A Bouc-Wen model and parameter identification method is presented to describe the hysteresis characteristics in a piezoelectric actuator. Based on the model, a new feedback control scheme with a hysteresis compensator is proposed for the precise tracking control of the piezoelectric actuator. To verify the efficiency of the proposed control method, an experimental study in a piezoelectric actuator shows that the relative error of 1.8% is obtained at 1Hz.
