Abstract :
The effectiveness of the decontamination of biological agents (spores) on surfaces by two thermal plasma systems is reported. Using existing systems, operating at nonoptimum conditions, a steam plasma decontaminated surfaces at a maximum speed of 1.4 mph and a nitrogen plasma decontaminated at a maximum of 2.4 mph
