  • Abstract
    Generalizations of the basic characteristics of electrical discharge in plasmatrons with an edge, with a sectioned insert between the electrodes, and with a porous insert between the electrodes are carried out in this paper. They are based on the theory and methods of the two-layer arc. The boundary condition of the third kind on an area arc has been used. The analytical expression for a generalization function of the heat transfer coefficient of an arc, denoted in conventional temperature, has been obtained. Analytical expressions for a multiplier generalization function have been given. The relations obtained in the paper link basic electric, gas-dynamic, and geometric parameters of the plasmatrons
