Abstract :
This paper describes measurements of the radar backscatter from rice crops at 9 GHz with a ground-based scatterometer. The measurements were conducted over the whole period of rice growth from transplanting to ripening, at three polarization combinations (HH, VV, and HV), and at incidence angles of 0-70°
