Abstract :
It is with great pleasure that on this 60th anniversary year of the Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) I´m able to announce the formation of another VTS local Chapter. The IEEE Tainan Section VTS Chapter was officially formed on 5 August 2009. Congratulations to Dr. Hsiao-Hwa Chen, the Tainan Chapter chair, on the successful navigation of the local Chapter-formation process. The VTS extends its best wishes for the successful operation of this Chapter.
