Abstract
The energy demand is steadily increasing day by day and huge amount of energy is required. There is steady increase of generation, distribution and utilization of power. The overall efficiency of the photovoltaic (PV) systems connected to the grid depends on efficiency of direct current (DC) of solar modules to alternating current (AC) inverter conversion. This paper presents the simulation modeling of an inverter controller for photovoltaic application using dSPACE DS1104 platform. The controller platform links the simulation model developed in MATLAB/Simulink environment to its prototype hardware. Results are presented to validate the effectiveness of dSPACE application in interconnecting the PV system to grid.
