Abstract :
A large, high-voltage switched reluctance motor that benefits from the more reliable concentration stator winding with regard to switching surges is presented. The easy-to-build rotor construction enhances reliability. Details of the high-voltage winding are presented, together with performance predictions. Prospects for even larger machines are discussed
