Abstract :
Genetic-algorithm approach has extensively popular as a powerful optimization tool been applied for engineering solutions. In this proposed technique a significant interest is in reducing dependence of the imported petroleum of the country. In contrast to the existing methods, the proposed technique implements the genetic-algorithm based system for enhancement of fuel efficiency of vehicle. As the evolutionary progression proceeds, individuals with definite architectures may gives corroboration to more fit than others to resolve these problems. The more fit architectures will have a propensity to prosper, while the less fit architectures will have a propensity to wither away and thus it will generate fittest solution. Whole application is discussed and then cross-checked with the help of a classical technique known as dichotomous method. Genetic algorithm tool (MATLAB) has been used to find result.
