Abstract :
The measured performances of 5 GHz single-stage power amplifiers are presented. The amplifying stages were designed using a recently proposed high efficiency design methodology. Improvements in terms of power-added efficiency of 12, 29 and 43% as compared to standard design approaches have been obtained
