Abstract
Tasks of deterministic packet delivery in conventional SpaceWire Networks are considered. The published draft of the SpaceWire-D is considered in the general context of time division (TDMA) multiplexing in comparison with FlexRay, TTP, TTEhernet, ZigBee, etc. Advances for efficient TDMA in conventional SpaceWire networks - static and dynamic time-slot segments, variable epoch duration, multiple transport protocols support, “trusted” end-nodes are considered.
