Abstract :
Like Rome, Los Angeles was not built in a day, and if it had to be done again, thanks to modern planning, zoning, environmental, civic, and political considerations, LA might not get built at all. However, the Urban Simulation Team (UST) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and similar groups around the world are using interactive visual simulations (VizSims) and virtual reality (VR) to accelerate the process of designing and obtaining approvals for new buildings and developments
