International? indeed!

From the outset, the WCET certification program was designed to be international in scope. The original Practice Analysis Task Force included representatives from Australia, Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Uruguay, as well as the United States. The original Delineation of technical areas, knowledge, and skills was evaluated by focus groups in Asia, Europe, and South America, plus the United States. And this international breadth of contributors has continued with the team of WEBOK authors and editors, the members of the exam creation team, the multitude of contributors who have authored exam questions, and of course, the applicants for the exam, who represent every continent except Antarctica, and quite possibly every time zone around the world.
