Abstract :
It is shown that the quadratic phase approximation introduced in the above communication is missing a term that may affect the accuracy of the solution. The presence of this term disallows the factorization of the free space Green´s function into source and receiving groups, which presumably is why the term is left out, but not addressed in the communication. It would be interesting to see how this term affects the results.
