Abstract :
The availability of a complex system subject to two kinds of failure has been evaluated. The system is repaired at either of two repair facilities depending upon the type of failure. Repair facilities are sufficient to handle the work load; all failure rates are constant; repair times have general distribution. Supplementary variable techniques and Laplace-transform are used in the analysis.
