Abstract :
A brief biography of Jean-Claude Boudenot (1956-2008) is given highlighting his professional achievements. Jean-Claude had many and prolific talents as a teacher, an engineer and a physicist, gave several memorable talks and short courses, belonged to many scientific organizations, including RADECS and the IEEE, and wrote about 30 books and short courses on engineering and the history of sciences. In all of his activities, he behaved the same way, giving each his full attention, with kindness, and providing wise advice.
