Abstract :
This work present the design for an enhanced network system based on CATV and CSMA/CD. It is for real time and multimedia transmission. The object-oriented technique is also incorporated into a state chart to design the network, referred to herein as OOSTD. In addition, the multimedia network is thoroughly analyzed and the system is simulated by a queuing model and implemented. The analysis and simulation results confirm that the throughput and delay of the MORENET system are better than the conventional CSMA/CD or multi-channel CSMA/CD network
