Abstract :
Due to the constantly increasing amount of ontologies available, the need for tools supporting ontology evaluation and ranking is crucial. In this paper, we present a Web tool for evaluating and ranking ontologies. The ontologies are evaluated against various structural and semantic metrics. We describe the metrics developed for the ranking system and present the system´s results in the context of the Ontology Building Competition 2014 - a learning environment for developing ontologies.
